Le colloque « L'URSS et la seconde guerre mondiale » entend rendre compte des nouvelles approches de l'URSS en guerre telles qu'elles se sont d?velopp?es au cours de ces vingt derni?res ann?es ? l'appui de sources nouvellement accessibles. De multiples travaux attestent en effet d'un d?frichement important dans des domaines aussi divers que l'exp?rience civile de la guerre en territoire occup? ou l'arri?re du front sovi?tique, les figures de combattants, les repr?sentations du conflit, son impact sur le syst?me et la soci?t? sovi?tiques, etc. Ces approches, souvent tr?s sp?cialis?es, m?ritent d'?tre resitu?es dans le panorama plus large de la guerre en URSS et du bilan nouveau sinon plus nuanc? qui se d?gage des introspections r?centes sur cette p?riode. L'int?r?t croissant qu'elle suscite confirme la n?cessit? de proc?der ? un ?tat du chantier en cours.
La rencontre scientifique explorera la guerre en tant que telle, tout en ?voquant la sortie de guerre et les cons?quences du conflit dans le « Second stalinisme » et l'histoire sovi?tique ult?rieure.
